Summary:
We need to grow up spiritually so we won’t be led astray, able to discern the times, and able to serve the Lord. How can we grow up spiritually?
- Be taught by the word of God
- Be strengthened by the love of God
- Abide in the Holy Spirit
When we are spiritually mature, we will give without limits (since our lives belong to God), make ceaseless prayers not just for ourselves but also other saints, and rejoice even in suffering!

Summary:
We come for services, serve God, chat about the goings-on in our lives with those in church. But do we feel very lonely in our ministry? Do we have a lot of things in our hearts we feel we cannot share with anyone around us? Do we really have Christly companions? This sermon discusses 5 missing links in building strong companionship in Christ:
- Do we truly believe two are better than one?
- Look at people around you. Do we truly know their needs?
- Being together inevitably results in some hurt, but we survive better when together. Are we prepared to take a little hurt to keep each other warm?
- Be prepared to fight the enemy out there with strong companions
- See the God factor when we build up strong companionship with each other

Summary:
Based on the description of the holy city in Revelation, teachings applicable to our lives today are drawn. Some examples:
- The holy city has gates on the North, East, South, West, indicating how we should preach the good NEWS in 4 directions.
- Only the temple is measured; outside the temple is not measured, and it is a place meant for Gentiles. The difference between inside and outside the temple is just one step. We need to be watchful of our footsteps today. Are we stepping inside or outside the temple?

Summary:
Let us be mindful of the impact and influence we have on the people around us. We may think: “This is my life. I can do whatever I want. Don’t take away my freedom!” But there is a role in our lives to participate in the work of saving souls and strengthening the people around us. Some people may ask, “God is powerful. Why can’t He do it Himself?” It’s for our own good, so that as we partake in these things, we can grow as a Christian. Put on the armour of light to protect ourselves and to draw people who are true worshippers of God in.

Summary:
The purpose of temptations and trials are different. To better understand the differences between the two, we look at 3 examples in the Bible - Eve, Job and Jesus. May we learn to (1) overcome our lusts, (2) persevere and be steadfast, (3) be victorious through love.
