Summary:
Today, we know that God has established the church, and that our bodies have become His holy temple! Why did God do all this? That we may be reconciled with Him and draw near to Him. Each time we come to church, each time we pray to Him, there is always a purpose - that we may draw near to God. A key idea about this holy covenant, is that we must return to God and be reconciled to Him!
Let us not forget the salvation that God has given to us. Let us be reminded about the significance and meaning of this holy covenant.

Summary:
What does it mean to be of the world?
1. Outer appearance: Do we dress in a particular way to bring attention to ourselves?
2. Our view of life: There is a new religion - humanism - and social media is its temple. Read more below.
3. Our actions and walk of life: Matt 5 and Rom 12 are two chapters we should read repeatedly. One is an outlook of life; second is how we are going to act in life.
4. Friends: To avoid being of the world, keep our most important relationships in the church.

Summary:
What can we learn from the devastating Earthquake on 11 Mar 2011?
- We were all in a state of helplessness and devoid of hope. The Lord Jesus Himself reached out and through His blood, we have hope and salvation. Let us be thankful.
- Don’t underestimate the coming destruction. While we’re alive, have the urgency to escape higher, escape further.
- Let’s not live in regret when destruction comes and our family members are not with us. How can we preach to them? (1) Pray, (2) show them our lives have been transformed through Jesus Christ. Then, our words will be able to touch them too.

Summary:
When we go through our sufferings, we have to ask God for wisdom. James tells us that if we are lacking in wisdom, we can ask for wisdom. When we receive wisdom from God, we will be able to understand our suffering and endure it. We also need to see the love of God behind this.
Regardless of whether we have sufferings or trials in our flesh, we see Jesus as our example, who has overcome all these things. He Himself was tempted, He also went through tribulations. However, He still overcame all these things.
