We have been stuck at home for about 26 days by now. Have you been happy, sad, or is there a lot of anger? For some people, being able to work from home is a dream come true. Don’t we always say we want to spend more time with our families? Now it’s government mandated to stay home with our families. Every day is like weekend. To some it’s a dream come true. But to others, it’s a nightmare. Perhaps in the first week of the Circuit Breaker, it felt okay. But from the second week onwards, we start to wish we could go back to office, because it’s not just us at home, there’s other people too. Young kids at home may cause a lot of noise. You may be in the middle of a meeting and suddenly your children run in. You apologise and quickly turn the video off. Truly having kids at home makes working from home more difficult. Have the last 26 days been happy or unhappy days? Have you and your spouse grown in your love or the number of arguments? Do you complain that your spouse has cooked yet the same thing again? Do you complain about your parents who keep nagging at you for sleeping too long, for bothering you once you rest and watch TV?

Is it right for you to be angry?

Ecclesiastes tells us the end of a thing is better than its beginning. This is very true. In fact, what we say in our last breath is better than the first words we utter. If we take a look at the first word a child utters, it may not be very meaningful at all. There was a couple the speaker read about online. They had a baby. They were eagerly awaiting for the first word the baby would deliberately utter. Finally, the baby uttered his first word. He said, “Woof.” Because they had a dog always barking at home. It’s fact that the first word a person utters may not be meaningful. In contrast, the last words spoken by a dying man are often most unforgettable. As a matter of fact, there are many characters in the Bible whose last words are recorded. These words are also very impactful, because they reflect how a person has lived his entire life; whether it was good or bad, his last words are a reflection and summary of his entire life.

If the truth sets us free - just as Jesus said, “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.” - what will fake news do?

From the record of Acts 16:16-22, we will consider three points:

1. What is important in our ministry?
2. What obstacles happen along the way?
3. What are the persecutions?
