How can we help our youths to love the truth? Firstly, love cannot be forced. Even if you force someone to perform an act, we know it’s not truly done out of love. Even if you force youths to do something, if they don’t love the truth; even if they know it’s important, they won’t be able to love it.

Anyone who has been to Myanmar recently will know that you have to do certain things within a certain time. The weather is extremely hot, resulting in a lack of electricity as their generators are powered by the rivers. While walking in the mall, there may suddenly be a power outage. You have to grab hold of the opportunity to finish what you have to do!

Family is a blessing God gives to us. It’s through them we learn how to live with one another. Through our family, the worst as well as the best is brought out of us.

In the previous sermon, we talked about how Joshua proclaimed he and his house would serve the Lord. Being committed and not just a participant was also talked about. We also talked about the attitude we should have in serving. We should serve with a heart of thanksgiving and with the intent to honour God.

We know that blessed is he who fears the Lord. We also know the reasons why we should fear God.
