We know that Elisha was the successor to Elijah. When Elijah was taken up to heaven, Elisha called him the chariots of Israel and its horsemen. When Elisha himself was about to die, Joash the king also called him the chariots of Israel and its horsemen. We can see Elisha truly took over the mantle of Elijah as prophet to Israel.

Eze 22:30-31
God was looking for a man who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before God on behalf of the land so that He wouldn’t destroy it. But God couldn’t find anyone. Why did God want to destroy the land of Judah? Because they went against the commands of the Lord, doing as they wished. So God was going to recompense their deeds. From the whole chapter, we can read of all their sins. From the priests to the prophets, God pointed out all their sins.

When Jesus was in the Garden of Gethsemane, He experienced many feelings that we too feel in our lives.

Who holds the missing peace? Missing ‘peace’ sounds like missing ‘piece’. In the invite, there’s a picture of a jigsaw with a missing piece.

There are two meanings in Chinese for 失神(losing God).

1. One refers to people who have not paid attention and so their minds have floated away. There’s no spirit in their eyes
2. Literally losing God (this is the meaning we’ll discuss)
