1 Cor 6:16
Paul corrects a misconception of the Corinthian believers. A lot of people have the idea that it’s acceptable if we act on our impulse and desires. Humans have desires so it’s only right we satisfy that human desire. Here says “with a harlot”. They think it’s nothing wrong and that they’re just satisfying their desire. Just as the previous verse says “food for the stomach, the stomach for food”. This is also a common argument. “If it’s natural; if it feels good, you can do it.”

How do we maintain and manage our marriage? In the morning we mentioned about preparation, which is to depart from your parents, and then the two shall become one. The adjustment one needs to have in marriage is to be one with your wife. In the morning the speaker talked about how in marriage two shall become one, how to live in harmony with your wife and how the two need to communicate.

How the YSM theme was decided on:
The world has a very different message of what love and marriage is. Divorce rates are getting higher. A lot of different sorts of misunderstandings of what true love is supposed to be is being spread around today. Hence the theme for this Youth Spiritual Meeting: and the two shall become one flesh. It is split into 3 sub themes as such:

1. The Two
   The two are still separate. This is for those who are still single.
2. Shall Become
   This means they are about to become a married couple. Colloquially, it’s the paktor period lol
3. One Flesh
   This is for youths who’re already married.
