The emphasis is on two separate beings - the singles, but it doesn’t mean that married people don’t need the sermons. We need to care for our children and brethren who are not married yet.

Our life is full of choices. This morning we chose what clothes to wear, what food to have for lunch and dinner. When buying, we also choose what brand to buy. We choose where to go for holiday.

Through the book of Revelation, Jesus told us the various problems the 7 churches face. We are surprised why the church with the truth and the Holy Spirit have so many problems. We also doubt why the Lord didn’t remove these problems, as if He doesn’t care or wonder how the churches are doing. But through the book of Revelation, Jesus also tells us that the 7 churches are in His hands. He knows what these problems are and allows them to exist so that WE can know of them and overcome them too. This is so we can be victorious over them.

Jesus doesn’t want us to fail but to be victorious.

We are living in a very exciting time where many things seem to excite us. It appears that we are also like this person surfing the waves as shown in the picture flashed on the screen. We are living in the 21st century, in the development of a society where it has already reached the stage of the fourth industrial revolution. In this 4th industrial revolution, what is the technology we’re facing? The older folks may not be familiar with the terms used in this sermon, but the younger ones would probably encounter this daily.
