Spiritual warfare and the stratagems of the devil will be discussed in this sermon. When we talk about this, the obvious beginning is “In the beginning”. So we first turn to Gen 3:1-6.

A student complained to his teacher about his sorrows. His teacher told him to have some tea with him. The teacher prepared the tea, poured him a cup and handed it to the student. He immediately said, “The tea isn’t nice!” The teacher prepared again and poured another cup. The student said, “This tea smells nice and tastes nice!”

There’s a saying: as a person, one should know how to pick up and lay aside.

Some people say: God is an all knowing God. Before I pray God already knows what I’m going to pray for. So why do I still need to pray?

1 Sam 24:5-7 David had the opportunity to kill Saul who had been pursuing him. Despite this, he didn’t kill nor harm Saul. However, he cut off part of Saul’s robe. This caused David’s heart to trouble him; he reproached himself.
